UTD Sail BOAT
-- ask me about --
MacGregor 25:  I am restoring a 1983 25 Foot Sailboat.  It
involves a great deal of Epoxy, Fiberglass, Metal, and wiring work.
Although this is not my exact boat, it is just  like mine.  Come
Spring, this is what we'll be doing on weekends.

Precious:  My pet Bridgeport Series II
Mill.  This a restoration project.   The BP
II has a 4HP motor, 58" table, Chromed
ways and can mill a 1500# piece of
metal.  I am converting NC controls to
CNC - and hooking up to a PC.  There will
be  direct link from Maya, SolidWorks,
Alibre, Rhino, Artcam and others to this
machine.  It's a classic old American
Machine.
Tools:  I am learning piratical electromechanical controls and metal
working.  Best way is just do it.  I also have:
Taig 2019 Mill (converting to CNC)                                  Taig Lathe
Bridgeport I - 3D Tracer Mill                                             G&E 20" Shaper
South Bend  "Heavy" 10L Lathe     -  Picture                    Powder Coat Oven
South Bend 16" x 54" Engine Lathe
South Bend 16" x 54" Turret Lathe
Machining is serious art - more HUAS than ME now days. Soon, I will learn
to joyously  weld!
